July 03, 2008 Alspaugh's BBQ & Street Dance Set For Saturday July 5th
Get ready to cut the rug... or should we say pavement at another Kingwood, Texas tradition. Alspaugh's Annual BBQ and Street Dance will be on Saturday July 5th at Alspaugh's Ace Hardware from 6pm to 11pm.
The band 8 Seconds will be performing to the thousands expected to attend and will take the stage at 7pm.
The BBQ is free but a tip jar will be set as proceeds will benefit the Gold Start Moms. The Gold Star Moms, an organization of mothers who lost a son or daughter while serving their country, will raffle off a new Cadillac during the evening.
“You can buy a ticket up until 8 o’clock,” said Alspaugh. “Bring your cooler and your lawn chair. It’s always been a huge success. I know this year will be even better.”
Alspaugh's Ace Hardware is located at 2720 West Lake Houston Parkway.
